MTV Star Chelsea Houska Met Boyfriend Cole DeBoer At Gas Station: ‘He’s So Sweet, Kind’
MTV star Chelsea Houska met her current boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, at a gas station last summer, and ever since, the Teen Mom 2 couple has been going strong. During a July 6 interview with Us Weekly, the MTV star, who was previously seen in an on-again, off-again relationship with Adam Lind, the father of her daughter Aubree, revealed details about the start of her relationship with DeBoer.
“He was across at the other pump, and I looked, and he was staring at me. We didn’t even talk. We just kept looking at each other because we’re both shy. And then we were passing each other when we left because we lived out towards the same way. I went home to my friend and I was like, ‘I just saw the guy I’m going to marry at the gas station, but we didn’t talk.'”
Although the MTV star didn’t speak to DeBoer during their first encounter, DeBoer contacted her on social media a few days later, telling her, “Hi. I got gas next to you the other day.” Right away, Houska was excited. One year later, Houska appears to be just as excited about her relationship with DeBoer, who she claims is amazing with her young daughter, Aubree.
“Honestly, there’s just no one that I’ve met that’s so respectful and just nice and I trust him, which is a big deal, because it’s hard for me to trust people or guys, mostly, a he’s so sweet, kind of like old-fashioned gentleman type of guy… I seriously am not an emotional person, but I cry all the time because I’m so happy.”
The MTV star struggled for years during her relationship with Lind, so seeing her happy will certainly come as a welcome surprise during the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2. Lind was never a fan favorite, and the majority of fans were rooting for Houska to part ways with the troubled star.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV star recently spoke about the possibility of a future wedding — and children — with DeBoer. During an interview with MTV News, via Wetpaint Entertainment, Houska confirmed she would like to give daughter Aubree a sibling or two, but said she and DeBoer were in no rush to get down the aisle.
