Watch cricket live online all afternoon long on July 4, with a pair of Caribbean Premier League matches from Warner Park in Basseterre, St. Kitts. In the opening contest, the homestanding St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots take on Chris Gayle’s Jamaica Tallawahs for the second time in five days.
The day wraps up with the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel searching for their first victory as they face the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Guyana recorded their first win of the 2015 CPL season on Friday, July 3, needing just 16 of the 20 available overs to chase down a 150 score and dispatch the Patriots in only the second home game in the history of the newly minted St. Kitts and Nevis franchise.
To find out how to watch either or both games of the Caribbean Premier League July 4 doubleheader live online, check out the information in the final paragraph of this article. The St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots vs. Jamaica Tallawahs match is scheduled to start at noon Atlantic Standard Time, which is also noon Eastern Daylight Time and 9 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
The second game, Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel vs. Guyana Amazon Warriors, is set to get underway at 4 p.m. local time, 1 p.m. Pacific. Both matches will be staged at Warner Park, the home of the Caribbean Premier League for another week, though on July 7, play also begins at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, home of the Tallawahs.
When the Patriots and Tallawahs met at Warner Park on June 30, Jamaica Captain Gayle tallied an unbeaten 72 on the way to a seven-wicket Jamaica win.
Jamaica’s first three games seem to indicate that as goes Gayle, so go the Tallawahs. In the team’s opening match, Gayle was caught out for just nine as his team lost to Trinidad & Tobago. But when Gayle scored 90 in the Tallawahs next game, they beat the St. Lucia Zouks with ease.
The second game of the day will be just the third game of the season for Trinidad & Tobago — and one of their games ended in a no-result. They lost the other, and so will hope to get into the “W” column on Saturday.
