Gigi Hadid And Cody Simpson Back On? Model Spotted On Plane With Ex-Boyfriend [Photo]
Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson recently reunited. Although the former couple have not been spotted together since their spring 2015 split, they recently sat next to one another on a plane, and according to an OK! Magazine report on July 2, they were considering a reconciliation.
“Those seats weren’t a coincidence. They both decided that they were going to go home together because it looked like they were going to get back together.”

While Gigi Hadid and her former beau reportedly intended to talk things out, they ended up arguing over her relationship with Joe Jonas, which to most, appears romantic. According to the source, Gigi Hadid claims she and Jonas are just friends, but Simpson isn’t okay with them spending time with one another.
In addition, claimed the source, Gigi Hadid and Simpson fought about the reason behind their split — their busy careers. While Gigi Hadid continues to be at the top of her game when it comes to modeling, Simpson reportedly feels that she makes his own career in music seem less important.
“She said that he needed to concentrate on her and he was too busy spreading the word on his music. He just didn’t agree with it so he said, ‘I don’t want to get back together with you right now. Not until you learn that my career is just as important as yours is.'”
Gigi Hadid announced, via her rep, she and Simpson had split weeks ago. A short time later, she stepped out with Jonas, and the pair seemed to be a new couple. Since then, they have been seen a number of times, most recently in Europe with Taylor Swift and boyfriend Calvin Harris.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gigi Hadid’s reported romance with Jonas has allegedly led to some tension between herself and Swift, as Swift briefly dated Jonas years ago. According to Closer Magazine, via a Yahoo! report, Swift felt betrayed by Gigi Hadid’s relationship.
“Things have been tense with Taylor and Gigi since she started hanging out with Joe. Gigi’s really fallen for him but Taylor’s branded their reported romance as the ‘ultimate betrayal.'”
Gigi Hadid has yet to confirm her romance with Jonas or reveal what’s really going on with her and Simpson.
