Watch a Caribbean Premier League cricket doubleheader live online Friday, to kick off the July 4 weekend with the self-proclaimed “biggest party in sport.” Starting with the Guyana Amazon Warriors visiting the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, followed by a rematch of Wednesday’s Barbados Tridents vs. St. Lucia Zouks showdown as the nightcap.
To find out how to watch both the Barbados Tridents vs. St. Lucia Zouks and Guyana Amazon Warriors vs. St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots Caribbean Premier League matches live online for free, see the information at the bottom of this article. Both games will be played at Warner Park in Basseterre, St. Kitts, with Guyana vs. the home side starting at 4 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time and Barbados vs. St. Lucia at 8 p.m.
Atlantic Standard Time is the same as United States Eastern Daylight Time. The matches begin at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
On Wednesday, the Tridents solidified their hold on first place in the CPL, skating by second-place St Lucia with a 15-run victory. The Tridents now sit three points clear of St. Lucia at the top, with four wins from five matches for eight points.
Not even a 56-run partnership between West Indies star Andre Fletcher and New Zealand international Ross Taylor could salvage the St. Lucia pursuit of 149, as the Zouks fell apart after that.
Captain Darren Sammy was in the crease with 49 still to go from 24 deliveries, but Sammy’s wicket fell in the 17th over as St. Lucia dropped seven wickets for just 44 runs.
But Sammy and St. Lucia get a second chance at the Tridents, who are captained by Sammy’s West Indies teammate Kieron Pollard, in the night game at Warner Park Friday.
In the afternoon opener, the Amazon Warriors will be looking for their first win after an opening two games in which they’ve faced both Barbados — in the 2015 CPL opener back on June 20 — and St. Lucia, the two top teams in the league’s early stages.
