Nick Viall On ‘Bachelorette’ Reputation: ‘I’m More Concerned With Genuine Friendships’

Nick Viall may not have won Andi Dorfman’s heart on the previous season of The Bachelorette, but he is back this season to see if he can win over Kaitlyn Bristowe. Prior to her being chosen as The Bachelorette, she and Nick were texting each other, and things supposedly got heated. So, when she decided to do the show, Viall wanted to see if he could join her and try fighting for her heart.

So far, Nick Viall has done well. Nick is currently one of the lead choices for Kaitlyn — and he has been nervous that he will be sent home. And yet, rumors are swirling that Viall could be the final pick, and that he could be engaged to Bristowe.

According to a new tweet, Nick Viall is now revealing that he isn’t too concerned with what people are saying about him, especially when it comes to how he comes across on reality television.

“I’m just going to say it… I like J.J. Lane. A little bit of an ass but 100 [percent] real #TheBachelorette,” Nick Viall revealed on Twitter while watching the show, which had one follower point out, “I am thinking that MIGHT not be helping your reputation with America, Nick.”

But it is no secret that Nick isn’t America’s favorite contestant. When he was competing for Andi Dorfman’s heart, he slept with her during the Fantasy Suite dates. The hookup wasn’t completely out of the norm, as many contestants sleep with one another on these overnight dates to see if there is a connection. However, Nick Viall called her out on national television when he wasn’t chosen as her future husband.

“I’m more concerned with genuine friendships than Twitter opinions,” Nick Viall responded to the Twitter follower, pointing out that he is much more concerned with his friendships than people’s opinions on Twitter.

Even though Nick is being cool on Twitter, he did show his feelings on yesterday’s episode. Viall was scared that Bristowe’s mistake of sleeping with him was a story he was bragging about, and he was concerned he would be sent home.

“I spend time with you, and I leave with this confidence,” Nick Viall told Kaitlyn during last night’s episode, adding, “But then I remember that I was the overconfident guy. It just makes me very nervous, and I’m scared to death.”

According to the Inquisitr, Josh Murray does feel that Nick is trying too hard to be in the spotlight. It will be interesting to see how this season ends.
