Rihanna And Chris Brown Rih-Union: Exes Talk Backstage At 2015 BET Awards

Awkward! Rihanna and Chris Brown had a run-in backstage at the 2015 BET Awards. Chris Brown was not only in the same room with Rihanna, but he was also in the same area as his other ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

Brown, 26, was scheduled to perform at the BET Awards on Sunday night. He sang with Tyga and Omarion, then took the stage with Nicki Minaj later in the night, as previously reported via Us Weekly. Rihanna, 27, was also seen singing along to Brown’s lyrics during his performance.

It appears that Rihanna and Chris Brown are on good terms with each other. According to numerous reports, the exes briefly met backstage, where the “Diamonds” singer wished the “Loyal” singer good luck on his performance. An insider told the Hollywood Life that although Rihanna and Chris spoke, they didn’t talk for long.

“Rihanna didn’t walk the red carpet, but she did see Chris backstage to watch his rehearsal. It was very brief and absolutely no one was allowed back there to see them. She told him to have a good show, watched about a minute or two of the rehearsal, and then left.”

Meanwhile, another report is claiming that RiRi would take back Chris Brown, but she’s not sold on his new outlook to life.

“She (Rihanna) always maintained that she love Chris and that won’t change but she will never take him back unless he make some major changes in his life including getting some anger management treatment and get more mature.”

Here’s some good news for Brown. His relationship with his daughter, Royalty, would make Rihanna jump back in his arms in a hot second, according to another inside source for Urban Islandz.

“Seeing Chris taking on fatherhood also impresses her so if he has any hopes of getting her back then that’s one good thing in his favor.”

Sources close to Rihanna said that she told Chris Brown to remove all of the negativity and drama from his life.

“He reached out to her regularly for advice and one of the things that she always told him is that he needs to get rid of the constant drama in his life and focus on making music and his daughter.”

Rihanna has been rumored to be dating Real Madrid player Karim Benzema, but sources told Urban Islandz that the pair are just good friends who just happen to party and hang out at nightclubs. The singer doesn’t want to get serious, since she’s working hard on her R8 album and promoting her single, “BBHMM.” As for Chris Brown, he’s been focusing on his daughter since his split from Karrueche Tran.
