Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Meet Will And Kate Over Tea

It would be anyone’s guess if testosterone levels raged in the room when Brad Pitt met Prince William. However, it’s a safe bet that some fashion envy was going on when Kate Middleton met Angelina Jolie.

Friday, Brad and Angelina had tea with Will and Kate at Kensington Palace. The Hollywood couple traveled to London to discuss shared interests, citing an AZ Central report.

Apparently, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Brangelina have vested interests in conservation, particularly with the plight of animals, according to a Kensington Palace spokesperson, who spoke with Us Magazine about the high-profile double date.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at Kensington Palace on Friday afternoon. They discussed their shared interest in combating the illegal wildlife trade.”

According to sources, handlers for the A-listers and British Royals spent many months planning the meet and greet. As one can imagine, trying to coordinate the schedules for the actor and actress power couple with two British monarchs is very difficult.

Ahead of the meeting with Brad and Angelina and Will and Kate, the American couple paid a visit to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on Monday.

Jolie’s scheduled visit was part of her global fight against sexual abuse in war-torn areas. After an afternoon luncheon there, Brad and Angelina headed over to Duchess Kate and Will’s living quarters. There, the Royals waited outside the entrance to their home to welcome their guests.

Prince George accompanied his parents, but Charlotte was noticeably absent. Nonetheless, the guests of honor brought along a welcome gift for the couple’s new baby, who was born in May. And by all accounts, the meeting was cordial, and things couldn’t have gone better. Everyone blended in well.

“Everyone got on splendidly. Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned. They ended up staying for almost a few hours.”

Angelina Jolie is no stranger to the Royal Family; the Queen made the actress an Honorary Dame Commander as part of her global humanitarian work. Otherwise, it marks the first time Brad and Angelina met Prince William and Kate Middleton.
