‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 6 Spoilers: New Details About The ‘Very Big’ Premiere Teased
Hawaii Five-0 Season 6 will premiere on CBS this fall, and fans are being given new teasers for the upcoming premiere episode. Entertainment Weekly shared the latest Hawaii Five-0 spoilers for the Season 6 premiere this weekend.
TV Line shared spoilers after the Season 5 finale aired that teased the premiere. Peter Lenkov shared these spoilers.
“Kono’s going to have the worst honeymoon anybody’s ever had. It’s going to be an interesting ride, that first episode! We have a great story [that is] very cool, very different, very big, and something like we’ve never done before.”
Now Lenkov has shared even more spoilers about the episode. The episode will involve a flashback and a modern day treasure hunt that McGarrett and his team end up involved in. EW shared more about the flashback sequence.
“I hear the season premiere actually opens on a flashback all the way to the 1800s where we’ll see pirates raid Hawaii for millions, which is loosely based on a real story. ‘It took a lot of research to find this account, and funny enough it was discovered after I had started to develop the story,’ EP Peter Lenkov tells me. ‘In the premiere, we will tell whether the story was true of not.'”
Season 5 definitely ended on a quiet note. It was Kono’s wedding day, but fans did not and will not see the actual wedding ceremony, according to a previous Inquisitr report. However, the Season 6 premiere will pick up after the wedding ceremony.
Gabriel tried to make a deal with Chin, but Chin was not buying it. Gabriel will be back for the Hawaii Five-0 Season 6 premiere, according to Lenkov.
“[Gabriel is] definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with, and he’s going to come right up, very hot out of the gate in the first episode next season… The pieces are going to come a little bit more together at the beginning of next year. Somebody like that, you imagine as soon as he got away, he would have left the island, but he didn’t, so you’ve got to ask yourself why.”
Lenkov also teased that fans will see more of Michelle Borth when the series returns. She did attend the wedding after all. It is not known how long she will stick around though. Fans should not hope for a romantic reunion for Steve and Catherine just yet.
