A nose job ruins beauty when it doesn’t go well, and one beauty queen found out what a horrible rhinoplasty can do to a career, self-esteem, and even relationships.

A former Miss India, Tania Mehra felt that she needed a nose job because a former lover told her she needed a new look. Her boyfriend referred her to a doctor who had given his mother breast enhancement surgery. Knowing a bad nose job ruins beauty, this gorgeous woman took the surgery plunge anyway and ended up with a nasty surprise in the end.

The nose job left the 33-year-old model with huge nostrils, according to Sunday Express. Ironically, she had broken up with her critical boyfriend the night before the surgery. She had hoped to win him back with a beautiful new nose, but those plans would fail miserably.

Seeing her new and horrible nose job made her cry, but what came from her own family was much worse.

Her family called her “pig nose.”

Thinking her new nose job ruins beauty and modelling career choices, her self-esteem was completely shot at the time.

Mehra said, “I was Miss India 2011, but now people refer to me as pig nose.”

Thankfully, Mehra was not about to let a rhinoplasty take control of her life any longer. After dealing with nostrils that made her family think of a pig when they looked at her for seven years, Mehra traveled to California to undergo another nose job to correct the first nose job. Ruined beauty was a thing of the past. Her nose was lengthened and nostrils were lowered for a more natural appearance.

This time after rhinoplasty surgery, the pretty woman was crying tears of joy rather than tears of embarrassment.

Mehra’s nose was fixed to her liking, and she finally had the self-confidence to continue her modelling career. Her mother stopped calling her “pig nose” and got to see the new nose six weeks after the surgery. Her mother liked what she saw.

“I am getting used to my new nose. It is like art sculpted to perfection on my face,” the former Miss India said.

The beauty queen has traveled around the world, been featured in Maxim magazine, and even hosted P. Diddy’s parties. Not bad for a “pig nose” whose nose job ruins beauty, and whatever else trolls have once said.
