Teen Who Tied Up, Robbed 85-Year-Old Sugar Daddy With Twin Sister Enters Guilty Plea

A New York teen, who was accused of tying an elderly man to a coffee table in his home and robbing him with her twin sister, pleaded guilty to the crimes on Thursday in hopes of a lighter sentence, according to NY Daily Mail.

Before meeting 85-year-old Paul Aronson, Shaina Foster, 17, had connected with the sugar daddy on an online website called Seeking Arrangement. The pair made arrangements to meet on October 1 at his Murray Hill townhouse, but upon her arrival, he was shocked to uncover that she had a twin.

Shalaine Foster, also 17, accompanied her sister as she met with her sugar daddy. But the meet and greet went awry when they tied the elderly man to his own coffee table before robbing him of $420 and his credit cards, according to Mirror.

After fleeing the scene, they went to a local store to splurge on cosmetic items with their stolen money.

Twenty hours later, their sugar daddy was found in his home, still tied to the coffee table.

The evil twins were later arrested, and while in custody, Shalaine told investigators that she had nothing to do with the attack on the elderly man. In fact, she stated that it was all Shaina’s doing.

“Shaina is the one who met this guy at least one time prior. My client was just there by happenstance,” said Shalaine’s lawyer Brian Kennedy.

They were both charged with a slew of crimes, including kidnapping, burglary, robbery, assault, and grand larceny followed by an alleged assault.

However, their attorney’s asked the judge to drop the charges considering the man – who Shaina met on a meet and greet website – was “looking for action.”

Shaina’s attorney Theodore Herlich stated that his client had done exceptionally well during her time at Rikers Island, and had even taken classes that could be of great use upon her release.

“She accepted full responsibility for her conduct and I hope that she uses her academic skills, which she clearly demonstrated, for good in the future.”

If the New York twins are found guilty of robbing their sugar daddy, they could face life in prison.

Shaina pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery at Manhattan Supreme Court in hopes of getting five years in prison followed by five years of supervision once she is released.
