Alcoholic Mother Brutally Beaten By Mob For Allegedly Eating Toddler Daughter Alive
Everyone has probably read horrific stories about vile parents abusing their innocent children. However, one mother has reportedly taken the abuse to an unprecedented level because she’s allegedly done the unthinkable to her two-year-old daughter.
According to the Daily Mail, an alcoholic mother in India is being accused of eating her toddler daughter alive. It has been reported that the disturbed mother was “caught slicing off and eating her two-year-old daughter’s scalp.”
The toddler — identified as Bharati Mondal — reportedly wailed in agony and her death-defying screams were heard by an uncle who arrived just in time to save her from the potentially fatal attack. During a recent interview, the toddler’s uncle Dablu Mondal, 41, recounted the horrifying moment when he caught his sister-in-law allegedly eating the child’s flesh. Needless to say, he was mortified.
“It was around noon and I was resting at home when I heard loud cries of Bharati,” said Mondal. “I ran to check on her but there the scene I saw was beyond shocking. Bharati was bleeding profusely as Pramila was eating the flesh of her head. I immediately snatched away Bharati from Pramila and rushed her to Malda Medical College and Hospital where she is admitted to ICU.”
According to the report, it definitely didn’t take long for the villagers of Gopalpur, India, to hear about the heinous crime and the toddler’s condition. But instead of contacting local authorities, a mob of villagers took matters into their own hands. The mother was reportedly tied and brutally beaten by an angry mob of villagers.
“Soon villagers learnt about the incident and reached Pramila’s house and started beating her in anger. We rescued the woman and sent her to hospital.”
Local police intervened and abruptly ended the angry mob’s attack on the mother. The child is reportedly still in critical condition. Investigators are currently building a case against the toddler’s mother. No further details have been released in regard to this incident.
