‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Says 50/50 Chance [Spoiler] Will Return

One of the stars of Game of Thrones has hinted that it is possible a certain character will return. Emilia Clarke said in an interview that she does not really know, but there is a 50/50 chance of a return in Season 6. This is despite the two show runners insisting that this character will definitely not be back.

Clarke was discussing the character of Jon Snow. The Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones saw the Night’s Watch members stab him numerous times and leave him for dead. Kit Harington, who plays the character, believes that it is the end for him. However, Clarke is not too sure, according to the Independent.

There are certainly ways for the character to make a reappearance at some point. It is also possible that the show runners are lying to help add some intrigue and discussion during the season break. Game of Thrones fans have to wait until April — the predicted month — for Season 6 and for answers to the shocking finale.

It would not be the first time they have lied. They said there would be no prophecies, dreams, or flashbacks, and all three have now occurred.

It appears show runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss do not think Emilia can lie well enough, which is why they have not told her what happens to Jon Snow. However, like many fans, she has noted there are a few people who could help bring him back. One of those is currently at The Wall — Melisandre, the Red Priestess.

“There are some helpful people there who could bring him back to life,” Emilia Clarke said about Jon Snow.

Other hints that Jon could be brought back for Season 6 have been shared by the Huffington Post. The publication says that Jon’s parentage could be revealed during the sixth season. If the character was really dead, what would be the point in revealing that now? This theory comes from the casting call for “a man in his thirties or forties.” Many speculate that the call is for Arthur Dayne, who was a member of Aerys Targaeryen’s Kingsguard and is already dead in the books. There is the possibility that there is a flashback or dream of some kind if this is true, and that explains the identity of Jon’s parents.

Fans will not know until Season 6 airs. The Game of Thrones scripts are under lock and key, and the show runners are very good at keeping details secret. However, there is hope for many that Jon Snow is not really dead on Game of Thrones, and Harington will be back next season.
