Animals In Mirrors: Hilarious Reactions Of Animals In Front Of Mirrors Goes Viral [Video]

What happens when you put animals in front of mirrors? Evidently people wanted to find out the answer to this question, so they set up huge mirrors in front of some animals and then filmed their reactions. According to Fox News, the mirrors make animals like monkeys and big cats quite curious, and their reactions are pretty entertaining.

According to the Telegraph, the experiment (if you’d like to call it that) was set up by a French photographer who traveled to Africa to capture some real reactions out in the wild. Xavier Hubert Brierre headed to a jungle in Gabon, set up a huge mirror, and then watched what happened. He then decided to share the results with the world.

“An inquisitive leopard can be seen peering closely at their reflection, while a group of monkeys use it purely for their vanity. But one gorilla was very distressed by his own reflection – so much so that he charges at the mirror.”

The video of animals in the mirror, posted earlier this month, has received over 23 million views on YouTube.
