France Attack: Severed Head Left Outside Building Along With Islamist Flag, Message [Report]

Suspects responsible for the terror attack in France left a severed head outside an American-owned building housing a chemical firm. Additionally, the nation’s president said an Islamist flag and a message were also left behind by those responsible for the gruesome crime.

In a series of highly orchestrated attacks in France, Tunisia, and Kuwait — and as the holy Ramadan Friday prayers were underway — scores of people were slaughtered as they went about their lives. The attack in France is particularly disturbing as it has the hallmarks of ISIS, according to initial reports.

According to several news agencies, French President Francois Hollande said one person was beheaded and two others injured in the terror attack in South Eastern France. A suspect named Yacinne Sali and his wife have been arrested and are said to have ties to Muslim fundamentalists.

Additionally, Hollande said a message was left at the gruesome scene along with an Islamist flag. The disturbing murder comes on the same day as other mass attacks in Tunisia, where at this time at least 27 people are feared dead at a vacation resort, and Kuwait, where gunmen stormed a Shiite Mosque during Friday prayers, killing 25 and injuring 202, according to British Foreign Affairs Correspondent Mikey Kay.

In remarks Friday, Hollande — who was attending a summit in Brussels, Belgium — called the events in France “a pure terrorist attack.”

The victim of what Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve dubbed a “barbarous” attack has not been publicly identified. However, the U.S. firm that owns the building where the attack took place, Air Products & Chemicals, said all its employees were accounted for.

The latest updates from the New York Daily News indicates that the French man beheaded his boss with a knife and then pinned it to the gate.

Images of the attack in France, as well as those in Tunisia and Kuwait, are slowing starting to trickle on social media and news outlets, showing the carnage left behind.

According to Breaking News, the Islamic State has taken responsibility for the attack in Kuwait.

While visiting the scene in France, Cazeneuve said the suspect, who was from the Lyon area, was “somebody who was in touch with (Muslim fundamentalist) Salafists.”
