Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Criminal Investigation Intensifies
Since January 31 of this year, Bobbi Kristina Brown has been fighting for her life. Sadly, it appears that she is losing the battle, as family members transferred Bobbi Kristina to hospice this week.
In the nearly five months since Bobbi Kristina was found face down in her bathtub, a scenario that imitates the events of her mother’s death in 2011, few facts have come to light of the events leading up to the incident. Speculation has encompassed a suicide attempt, drug overdose, and attempted murder. Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s foster brother-turned-boyfriend, has consistently remained the prime suspect in a criminal investigation that has been ongoing since Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her Roswell home.
Though little information regarding the investigation is forthcoming, Rusty Grant, Chief of Roswell Police, confirmed to CNN in February that the case involving Bobbi Kristina Brown was being investigated.
“I can confirm that we have a criminal investigation ongoing.”
It appears that the moving of Bobbi Kristina to hospice care has intensified the investigation.

Us Weekly reports that the Bobbi Kristina Brown case has been handed over to the Fulton Country District Attorney’s office. Paul L. Howard, Jr., Fulton County District Attorney, confirmed the transition of the case.
“The Roswell Police Department has forwarded its investigative file to our Office. In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest. An announcement regarding a charging decision, if any, will be made at the appropriate time.”
According to ABC News, Ian Halperin, author of the book Whitney and Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame, believes there was something more sinister involved in the bathtub incident.
“There’s no doubt the circumstances are highly suspicious because she was found in a bathtub of cold water. There is a criminal investigation going on as we speak.”

The sad news that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been moved to hospice is certainly a devastating blow for the Houston and Brown family. Perhaps now Bobbi Kristina can finally be at peace.
