Bill O’Reilly Unleashes Fury: ‘You Want a War? You Got A War!’

You’d probably think something was wrong with Bill O’Reilly if he wasn’t a bit passionate about the things he discusses — after all, that’s his personality, and why he has such a strong fan base (And a strong critic base). However, there’s been times recently that’s he’s completely lost his cool — once when he was accused of falsifying his accounts about his time covering the Falklands War, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, and more recently — this week — over the topic of race relations and the confederate flag.

While O’Reilly has been accused of false reporting in the wake of the Brian Williams scandal, Bill didn’t seem to take the pubic wrath that Williams did. Instead, he gave out plenty of his own — and his ratings soared.

This Wednesday, O’Reilly’s lead-off segment “Talking Points Memo,” was titled “Demonizing America as a Racist Nation.” O’Reilly’s main complaint seems to be that because of the shootings in Charleston and the riots in Baltimore surrounding the death of Freddie Gray, the “far left” is using tragedy to promote some particular agenda. As he discussed the events, he had no problem naming who he thought was responsible for the divide.

“…far-left smear merchants have the nerve to say that America is a white supremacist nation. The American Congress has passed law after law after law to ensure that all Americans have equal opportunity to pursue happiness.”

Then, while in a heated debate with liberal Kirsten Powers, he bellowed over top of her, “You want a war? You got a war!”

Some people are finding his zeal for the topic a little alarming, even for him. He seems pretty incensed that some people are suggesting that there’s still a lot of racism in America. Nobody is sure who is starting a war with: the media? The liberals? People against the confederate flag? He elaborated on his feelings heatedly.

“The truth is there is no organized effort to harm black people by white people. I am not going to sit here and take this garbage any longer. People who lie, who run their country down, who are racist themselves, are going to be called out on The Factor.”

While it’s not evident who is he going call out or what he is going to do, he’s clearly a man on a mission. The interesting thing about Bill O’Reilly is whether people love him, hate him, or love to hate him, his ratings remain high and climbing with each new tirade.
