Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Dr. Phil Wants Nick Gordon Back On The Show

Bobbi Kristina Brown was transferred to Duluth, Georgia’s Peachtree Christian Center hospice care yesterday after battling for her life for close to five months. Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, remains the primary suspect in the incident that led to her condition, but famous talk show host Dr. Phil wants to give him a chance to tell his side of the story.

Dr. Phil states that he still wants Gordon, 26, to sit down with him and tell him exactly what happened to Bobbi Kristina.

In a previous interview, Gordon was so intoxicated and belligerent that the interview took a different path that led to an intervention instead of an interview about Bobbi Kristina. Now that Gordon is released from rehab, Dr. Phil wants to finish what he originally intended.

“I still want to sit down, look that young man in the eye, and do the interview he promised me to do before I put him into rehabilitation. I want to ask what happened that night. I want to give him a chance to tell his side of the story and answer the questions that people want to know.”

Gordon has been the center of speculation and rumors regarding the January 31 incident that left Bobbi Kristina face-down, comatose in a bathtub. Now that a civil lawsuit was filed against him, alleging that he stole $11,000 from Bobbi Kristina and assaulted her, the heat to convict him criminally has increased.

According to Paul L. Howard, Jr. from the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office (DA), the Roswell Police Department handed over the ongoing investigation to the DA to determine what, if any, criminal charges will be applied to the case.

“The Roswell Police Department has forwarded its investigative file to our Office. In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest. An announcement regarding a charging decision, if any, will be made at the appropriate time.”

Dr. Phil, however, wants to give Gordon a chance. So far, Gordon has refused to speak publicly about what happened to Bobbi Kristina, even though he may hold the key that can help solve the mystery.

“I asked him if he was sober. And he said, ‘No.’ I transitioned him into a rehabilitation program, which I am told he did a lot of good, had work in and has completed the program.”

It’s unclear whether Gordon will take the opportunity to appear on Dr. Phil again and tell his side of the story. He still remains quiet about the issue, even making his Twitter account private. However, an undisclosed source close to the 26-year-old indicates that he is heartbroken and still desperately wants to see Bobbi Kristina.

“He is heartbroken and grieving. He truly wanted to see her.”

The problem, however, is that Gordon has refused to agree to the requests set forth by Bobby Brown, 46, Bobbi Kristina’s father. Earlier this month, Brown’s attorney, Christopher Brown, stated that Gordon could see Bobbi Kristina if he would give a written statement on exactly what happened to her.

“Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina.”

Meanwhile, Bobby Brown arrived at the hospice center earlier today to visit his daughter. Although Bobbi Kristina Brown has been removed from all medications and the situation remains dire, family members are holding out hope for a miracle, or at least for a “peaceful passing.”
