Bobbi Kristina Moved To Hospice By Bobby Brown But Did Drugs From Nick Gordon & Anorexia Add To Tragedy [Video]

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, has been moved to hospice amid allegations that she was abused by Nick Gordon, reported Reuters.

The lawsuit claims that Nick Gordon physically abused Bobbi Kristina and stole from her bank account. The $10 million lawsuit charges Gordon with both injuring Bobbi Kristina and pilfering her bank account during the weeks that she lay unconscious in a coma.

As her family places her in God’s hands, many are asking what else may have contributed to Bobbi Kristina’s doom, reported MSN.

“[Bobbi Kristina’s] condition has continued to deteriorate,” said her aunt Pat Houston.

Whitney’s daughter spent weeks first in a hospital, then in a long-term care facility. The medical care to try to save Bobbi Kristina’s life included a procedure to change her breathing tube to a tracheotomy tube. But now, said family members, the time to grieve rather than hope for a medical miracle has come.

“[We thank] everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now,” said the family.

Among those visiting Bobbi Kristina in hospice are Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, reported People.

And some members of Whitney’s and Bobby’s family are not giving up hope.

“She is still alive and her heart is beating so there’s hope,” said an insider. “God can perform a miracle.”

The move to hospice and what it signifies, as well as the deterioration in Bobbi Kristina’s condition, is heart-breaking for the family who already lost Whitney.

“The heartbreak and pain we feel in seeing her that way is beyond words,” said a family source.

But what caused that situation, and did drug abuse coupled with a rumored eating disorder contribute?

In an exclusive interview, Ian Halperin, who authored the investigative book Whitney & Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame,” revealed that Bobbi Kristina struggled with drug abuse to the point where she, like her mother Whitney, faced claims that she was wasting away from anorexia.

“Like many other celebrities, including Karen Carpenter, Princess Diana and Jane Fonda, Whitney Houston struggled with an eating disorder for years. Combined with self destructive habits, Whitney’s low self esteem in the final years of her life combined with an eating disorder and intense drug abuse led to her being taken away from the world at the young age of 48. Whitney often went on drug induced binges without eating food for days,” said Halperin.

And like mother, like daughter, added Ian.

“Bobbi Kristina’s drastic weight loss was due to drugs. She was surrounded by a bunch of enablers. If she had better people around her after her mom passed she would be thriving today. I hope and pray that those enablers are held accountable for what happened to her. It’s a terrible tragedy. Her father Bobby Brown is often criticized in the media for his role. I can’t express enough how he’s been misportrayed. He’s handled the situation with quiet dignity and has done everything in his power to get Bobbi Kristina the best help and the best setting while she lays irreversibly brain damaged.”

Exacerbating the situation for both Bobbi Kristina and Whitney were their depression, according to Halperin.

“Whitney and Bobbi Kristina both suffered from depression which intensified their drug use,” said the author. “Bobbi Kristina had trouble dealing with the loss of her mother and surrounded herself with the wrong people. Her drug use intensified daily during the last months leading up to the tragic January day in 2015 when she was found face down in her bathtub. Both of their drug abuse began early in their lives and persisted until the end.”

And Ian links the eating disorder to the depression.

“Their eating disorders had nothing to do with food, it was about depression and self-harming issues ever since they were teenagers.Unfortunately, the intervention they so desperately needed never happened,” added Halperin.

Moreover, he charges that both Whitney and Bobbi Kristina were hurt by those around them, quoting an insider.

“The people around them were more concerned about sponging off their financial means than keeping them alive,” said a person who knew Whitney for three decades. “Those people were enablers. Those people killed them.”

And police may confirm that statement that someone killed Bobbi Kristina, reported TMZ.

With Bobbi Kristina’s beau Nick Gordon as a “person of interest,” the district attorney has become involved.

The Fulton County D.A. confirmed that involvement.

“In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest.”

In his book, Halperin also revealed that Nick and his crowd surrounded Bobbi Kristina, reported the Wrap.

“The past couple of years she hung with a bunch of crazies, they were wild and reckless,” said one insider.

In addition, a friend who stayed in Bobbi Kristina’s and Nick’s home revealed that just like Whitney, Bobbi Kristina didn’t limit herself in her drugs of choice.

“Kristi does all the drugs that Whitney did and more, including heroin. She uses anything that is put in front of her,” said the insider.

One question that has been asked frequently: Who will inherit Bobbi Kristina’s estate?

“Unless Nick [Gordon] can provide evidence that the couple were legally wed, her father, Bobby Brown, will inherit everything,” according to Halperin.

As the Inquisitr reported, at one point there were reports that some family members wanted to take Bobbi Kristina to the home that she shared with Nick Gordon to end her life in a familiar setting. Because Bobby and Pat shared the responsibility for making her medical decisions, the move to hospice means that they agreed upon that place for her final days.
