Demi Moore is flaunting a bikini body that belies her age. At 52, Demi knows what it takes to look fabulous in a bikini, and Moore credits her vegan diet and yoga for her beautiful body, reported Us Weekly.
As for how Demi’s three daughters feel about Moore? They couldn’t be prouder.
“When you can’t be with the papa…#freeslw #POOLPARTY #mymomsbodtho,” posted Tallulah with a photo of Demi.
Moore’s girls also are proud of their own bikini bodies, but their mother revealed that she struggles with her body image.
“When I’m at the greatest odds with my body, it’s usually because I feel my body’s betraying me, whether that’s been in the past, struggling with my weight and feeling that I couldn’t eat what I wanted to eat, or that I couldn’t get my body to do what I wanted it to do. I find peace when I don’t see my body as my enemy, when I step back and have appreciation and look at all that my body has done for me. It’s allowed me to give birth to three beautiful children, allowed me to explore different roles as an actor, allowed me to be strong.”
But Demi emphasized that she’s learned to look in the mirror and appreciate herself. Moore emphasized that she cherishes her bikini body for its beauty.
“You can’t look at yourself in the mirror and tear your body apart,” mused the actress. “You have to look at it and go, ‘Thank you. Thank you for standing by me, for being there for me no matter what I have put you through.’ “
As for her diet specifics, Demi follows a raw vegan diet, reported Shape.
Moore’s bikini body basics involve cutting out cooked foods and eating clean with natural products. Among her favorites are vegetables, soups, smoothies, juices, and fruits.
In addition to her vegan diet, Demi relies on yoga to keep her in shape. The holistic aspect of yoga has helped Moore through some challenging times, reported Radar Online.
To avoid the emotional pain of Ashton Kutcher’s marriage to Mila and improve her health while healing, Demi decided to schedule a yoga retreat at the same time.
“When she gets word, either through mutual friends or Rumer, about the exact date, she’s booking a trip to the yogic spiritual center of India, Rishikesh, where she’ll submerge herself in days of waking at 4 a.m., chanting, meditation, yoga by the Ganges River, light eating of only meager portions of vegan foods and dressing in saffron colored robes,” said an insider.
As the Inquisitr reported, Carrie Underwood also has credited a vegan diet for helping her restore her pre-baby body in just four months. The country crooner initially followed a vegetarian diet until a friend persuaded her to go vegan.
