Man ‘Rehomes’ Girlfriend On Craigslist After Being Forced To Choose Between Her And His Dog

A Virginia man forced to choose between his dog and his girlfriend decided to “rehome” his significant other on Craigslist. The “Free to any willing home” girlfriend ad has gone viral. The Roanoke dog lover goes into great detail to describe the “traits” of his girlfriend in the online ad.

The rehome girlfriend ad begins by announcing the now-former romantic partner does not like the poster’s beloved beagle, Molly. After saying that he has decided to rehome who, most would assume, is the dog, he lists all of her “behavior traits.”

“She is a purebred from a wealthy area and I have had her 4 years. She likes to play games. Not totally trained. Has long hair so she’s a little high maintenance, especially the nails, but she loves having them done. Stays up all night yapping but sleeps while I work. Only eats the best, most expensive food. Will NEVER greet you at the door after a long day or give you unconditional love when you’re down. Does not bite, but she can be mean as h**l.”

The Virginia dog lover asks those reading the Craiglist rehoming girlfriend ad, “So… anyone interested in my selfish, wicked, gold-digging girlfriend?”

Molly’s best friend also stated in the “girlfriend free to a good home” ad that if anyone wants his ex, to come get her quickly because “me and my dog want her re-homed ASAP!!”

The “girlfriend free to any willing home” ad quickly went viral on social media. Twitter users did not seem eager to accept the girlfriend rehoming offer, but instead uttered support for Molly. A photo of the beagle was included in the Craigslist ad, with many social media users eagerly heralding Molly for her overall cuteness.

Some think the Craigslist girlfriend ad might be fake, but still f0und it clever and enjoyed a good laugh.
