Holly Madison’s ‘Down The Rabbit Hole’ Memoir Could Become A Movie

Holly Madison’s new book, Down The Rabbit: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, have been making headlines all week long. Now it looks like the former reality star and Playboy bunny is in talks to have her book turned into a TV movie.

In her new interview with E! News, Madison, 35, expressed her interest in having her memoir turned into a film.

“I think everybody’s dream would be to do the big motion picture, but I think even a really well made TV movie would be great, too.”

So, who would Holly Madison choose as the star of her movie?

“I would pick somebody young because they’d have to be playing me when I started at 21. I’d pick Emma Watson or Lily James. Lily James is my favorite.”

She also joked that she would love to see a Broadway version of her memoir, as well. Maybe a Girls Next Door-esque musical could be in the works.

“It could totally be Legally Blonde meets Gypsy. That would be so fun.”

Madison’s book gives fans a grim look at what life’s really like at the Playboy Mansion. The former model gave the details of her relationship with Hugh Hefner, revealing that she was so unhappy with her life that she fell into a deep depression and even considered suicide at one point, according to a People magazine report.

Madison also hinted that Hefner was emotionally and verbally abusive in their relationship, leaving her feeling “vacant” most of the time. Madison also accused Hefner of pitting girls against one another and creating drama for added entertainment. Madison left the Playboy Mansion behind in 2009, and later became a Las Vegas dancer and nightclub owner. She also went on to marry Electronic Daisy Carnival creator, Pasquale Rottella in 2013. The couple are also parents to their two-year-old daughter, Rainbow Aurora Rotella.

Hugh Hefner hit back at the blonde bombshell. He released a statement via Us Weekly earlier this week. Hugh denies all of Holly’s allegations in her memoir. Hugh even accused of Holly of wanting attention and fame.

“Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes: You can’t win ’em all!'”

As previously reported via the Inquisitr, Kendra Wilkinson hasn’t also been taking kindly to Holly Madison’s memoir. She defended Hefner while saying that Madison acted like a gold digger at the Mansion.

“Holly, you can tell, had this ulterior movie every minute being in the Mansion. She wanted Hef’s kids, she wanted a piece of Playboy and she wanted to marry Hef for, obviously, his will. That didn’t happen. So what do you think’s going to happen? Revenge. So we’re witnessing some revenge here.”

Wilkinson also has nothing but kind things to say about Hefner. She has no bad blood with the Playboy exec, and admits she still visits him on a regular basis.

“I feel bad for Hef, but you know what? He’s an amazing human being.”

Holly Madison’s memoir already hit bookstores on Tuesday, June 23. Have you ready her new book? Would you like to see a made-for-TV version of her new memoir? Share your thoughts below in the comments section.
