Nick Viall’s ‘Bachelorette’ Response: Bachelor Defends Kaitlyn Bristowe, Sex During Filming

Nick Viall’s Bachelorette experience this time around with Kaitlyn Bristowe is garnering even more buzz than his first outing last year with Andi Dorfman. Nick kissed and told during the “After the Final Rose” special with Andi last year, and this time, he is at the center of a firestorm about getting intimate with the lead once again, in a way that certainly didn’t fly under the radar. While Viall may be getting a lot of criticism, he’s definitely not backing down in his social media posts.

Viewers watched as Nick Viall’s Bachelorette journey this spring took an intimate turn during Monday night’s show. Nick and Kaitlyn Bristowe had their first one-on-one date, and they couldn’t keep their hands off of one another. Kaitlyn invited him back to her hotel room, and the two took things to the next level.

Soon, Nick had told the guys a bit about his time with Kaitlyn, noting that the two had spent some quality time together and that things had been intimate. The guys don’t fully know the scope of that yet, but it seems they’re about to find out. Kaitlyn was seen worrying a lot about whether Nick would tell the guys the details, and Bachelorette spoilers have indicated that things will explode over this intimate moment in the June 29 episode.

On Twitter, Nick stood up for Kaitlyn and made it clear that he carried no shame over the two having slept together during filming ahead of the fantasy suite dates. Viall tweeted about how sex is important in any relationship and he said Bristowe showed courage by admitting to what happened on national television, even though it would lead to judgment by some.

Nick also tweeted that if he had indeed kissed and told, in full, he thinks the guys would have been in a much different mood during the group date. As viewers saw, however, most of the guys were in a pretty good mood. While Viall may not have shared the specifics with the guys, it appears that the bachelors will learn a lot more in the next episode.

Fans will have to tune in to the June 29 show to see just how it all plays out. Kaitlyn is shown looking very anxious and full of tears while many of the guys, seemingly including Nick, are frustrated and tense.

ABC teases Bachelorette spoilers that Shawn will still be dealing with a lot of jealousy in this next episode, and he again seeks Kaitlyn out for a confrontation. It seems she’ll again panic that this is about sleeping with Nick, but instead Shawn is upset about something else.

Though the Bachelorette spoiler preview teases a lot of fallout from the Kaitlyn and Nick sexcapade, the network press release focuses more on the dates and rose ceremony ahead. Will the drama ahead in the June 29 episode live up to the preview hype?

Will Nick Viall’s Bachelorette run ruin the chances for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s fairy tale ending, or could Nick himself end up with that final rose? Fans can’t wait to see what comes next in the Week 7 episode, airing next Monday.
