Jessica Simpson Gets Back Into Those Classic Denim Daisy Dukes
Jessica Simpson slipped into her classic Daisy Dukes once again.
The 34-year-old fashion business mogul was photographed leaving a friend’s house in Hollywood over the past weekend. Jessica showed off her lean legs in a pair of denim daisy dukes, a white blouse, and brown wedges. Jessica tried to keep it low-key with her black floppy hat, retro sunglasses, and a patchwork handbag.
It’s obvious that Simpson is still working hard at the gym. She showed off her muscular legs in her daisy dukes, similar to the ones she wore in her 2005 film Dukes of Hazard. She previously said that she had to spend weeks lifting weights for her sexy role. Simpson exercised almost two hours per day, doing one-hour of weight training and a half hour of cardio.

Although she’s not doing extreme workouts or diets these days, she’s still keeping in shape. Last year, Jessica revealed that she’s eating smarter thanks to Weight Watchers. She also opted for a “healthier lifestyle,” which includes seeing her personal trainer three times a week and taking walks with her husband, Eric Johnson.
Though she vows to live a healthier life, there have been rumors about Jessica Simpson’s alleged substance abuse problems. The Inquisitr previously reported that Simpson’s mother, Tina Simpson, is battling her own addiction and wants her daughter to come with her to rehab. An alleged source even spoke to Radar about the mother and daughter’s alleged addiction.
“Jessica’s drinking has gotten out of control, and she uses Adderall as a diet drug. One minute she’s fine and the next minute she’s talking nonsense and acting all crazy.”
The source also said that Tina “drowned her sorrows in Vodka” since divorcing Joe Simpson back in 2012. The habit has stuck with Tina, and she wants her and Jessica to get help for their substance abuse issues. Tina Simpson is also engaged to Jon Goldstein, which is another reason why she wants to get clean and sober. She feels that taking a mother-daughter trip to rehab would be a positive experience.
“Going to rehab with Jessica means she can kill two birds with one stone. Tina sees it as a win-win for mother and daughter.”
This rumor stemmed from Simpson’s appearance at Evan Ross’ performance earlier this month. Insiders said that the former reality star was stumbling out of the nightclub, as she held onto Eric Johnson.
