Jarret Stoll, Erin Andrews’ Boyfriend, Charged With Cocaine Possession

Las Vegas police are having Erin Andrews’ boyfriend charged with cocaine possession after he was caught at the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand with the illegal drug. Jarret Stoll is a NHL hockey player for the Los Angeles Kings, and he faces years in prison or probation if it’s a first offense.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, some say that Erin Andrews ruined Noah Galloway’s proposal by one of her actions.

The incident in question happened about two months ago, with police having Jarret Stoll arrested while he was at a pool at the Las Vegas hotel. The hockey star was booked into Clark County Detention Center with bail set at $5,000. The reason police are having Erin Andrews’ boyfriend charged with a criminal offense is because security guards found what they believed to be 3.3 grams of cocaine and several capsules of ecstasy during a routine search.

Some reports question why District Attorney Steven Wolfson did not hand out more serious charges. The security guard found the drugs during a voluntary pat-down, and it said another drug called MDMA was found during the search. Yet, the one-page complaint filed Monday by the Clark County DA did not mention the MDMA at all as part of the charges. In addition, the OC Register claims Stoll admitted to possessing the cocaine.

NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said the NHL was aware that police had Erin Andrews’ boyfriend charged. “Yes, we are aware of the news. No, we don’t have any comment at this time,” he said. Daly would not answer any questions about whether or not the NHL would official suspend Stoll over the allegations.

According to the New York Daily News, the Kings released a statement in the past.

“We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.”

If Erin Andrews’ boyfriend is successfully convicted of a felony crime, it is possible Jarret Stoll may face issues related to his immigration status since the NHL hockey player is a native Canadian. The dating couple has not yet commented publicly on the case, although some hope they will not split up over the criminal charges.

Reports say that Stoll’s first court date is July 1, 2015. The maximum penalty based upon the law is four years in prison.
