Lamar Odom’s Friend Bobby Heyward Dies Days After Jamie Sangouthai’s Death

Lamar Odom’s friend, Bobby Heyward, has died just days after Odom’s other friend, Jamie Sangouthai, died.

For the second week in a row, Lamar Odom has lost a close friend to drugs, Us Weekly confirms. Heyward died from an apparent drug overdose on Saturday, June 20.

Heyward’s death comes just a week after Jamie Sangouthai died on June 14 from a skin infection he contracted from using dirty needles, according to L.A. Coroner’s office assistant chief Ed Winter, Wonderwall reports. What is even more heartbreaking is that Heyward’s last Instagram post was a tribute to Sangouthai, with a throwback photo of himself, Lamar, and Jamie.

“#RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed. Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt,” Bobby captioned the photo.

Lamar is apparently “beside himself” after the loss of his friends, who were also close friends to his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian.

“So much all at one time … Who wants a vacation from life? I wish I could push pause and just sit on a beach for a minute. Who’s with me?” Khloe wrote on Twitter, following the news of Bobby’s death.

Khloe also tweeted a message following Jamie’s death. “When does it stop? RIP Jamie Sangouthai,” she tweeted followed by a series of broken heart and crying emoticons. She later added, “Life doesn’t get easier but I promise you that life will make you stronger.”

According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, “Heyward was a native of Malibu and had production credits on shows such as America’s Next Top Model and Sons of Hollywood. His father, Andy Heyward, is also the former CEO of the animation company DIC Entertainment.”
