Joshua Ledet Give Another ‘Unbelievable Performance’ On ‘American Idol’ [Video]

Is Joshua Ledet going be the next “American Idol.” The 20-year-old singer earned a standing ovation (judges included) after his performance of the Bruno Mars song “Runaway Baby.”

Randy Jackson said that it was “another unbelievable performance” and Steven Tyler added: “You can sell a song like a work of art.”

Ledet ended the night at the top but he wasn’t the only singer to impress the judges. Skylar Laine, who sang Kellie Pickler’s “Didn’t You Know How Much I love You,” proved why she is still in the top 7, and 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez, sang so well that Steven Tyler momentarily forget where he was.

Tyler said: “Jessica, every time I hear you sing, I forget where I am.”

Elise Teston and Hollie Cavanagh managed to hang in there another week but the judges weren’t too impressed. Cavanagh, who sang a rendition of Pink’s “Perfect,” was praised for improving, but that’s about it. Jackson said: “It wasn’t perfect, but it’s a lot better than where you were last week.”

Who do you think is going to win “American Idol?”
