You don’t expect to see a lot of naked women on ABC, but Krysten Ritter’s character in “Don’t Trust the B— In Apartment 23” isn’t your typical ABC character. Ritter introduced the world to her new character, and her body, in the first episode of the new show by walking around her apartment naked.
Ritter’s naked body was, of course, pixelated, but that hasn’t stopped people from talking about her.
Ritter, who has previously played dark dramatic roles in shows like “Breaking Bad” and “Gravity,” takes a pleasant comedic turn in the new sitcom. Ritter plays a cynical girl who preys on optimistic characters moving to New York for the first time.
IMDB describes the show saying:
“Centers on Chloe, a New York party girl with the morals of a pirate who bullies and causes trouble for her naive small town roommate June.”
In the pilot episode, Ritter forces her new roommate into uncomfortable situations. One of which is the fact that she’s an exhibitionist.
On “The View,” Ritter said that she wasn’t actually naked during the scene.
“You know, they make you wear these boobie paste things that make you look even worse. So you feel like an alien.”
Ritter also gave a pretty good description of her new character.
“I’m the devil. But like a nice, holly-go-lightly devil.”
