’19 Kids And Counting’: Jinger Duggar Doesn’t Fear Her Brothers, Parents Don’t Fear Losing Earthly Possessions

19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar is still in hiding after confessing to molesting his younger sisters, but the other Duggar sons are having fun — they recently goofed off during a shopping outing with one of their older sisters.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shared a photo on the Duggar Family Facebook page that shows 21-year-old Jinger Duggar posing with five of her younger brothers while they try on hats at Walmart. There’s a high likelihood that Jinger was one of Josh’s victims, so perhaps the Duggars are trying to show the world that she has nothing to fear from her other brothers.

“This picture made us laugh so hard,” the photo below was captioned. “Sweet Jinger does a lot of shopping for the family (as a favor and because she does enjoy it!) Some of the boys needed to go to the store as well. Jinger sent us this picture and said, ‘Wow, shopping with the guys is a REAL adventure!'”

Jinger Duggar might look like she’s having a good time in the photo above, but life hasn’t always been easy for the 19 Kids and Counting star. According to Radar Online, she has confessed that she used to struggle with her faith, and she even described herself as being “totally broken” when she was a young teen. During a video interview with Ben Seewald, the husband of Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jinger opened up about her issues.

“I came to my parents and I was like, I really need Jesus because I know in my own self I’m not going to be able to get to heaven,” Jinger said. “I’ve done so many bad deeds… I’ve sinned against God. I cannot save myself from my sins.”

19 Kids and Counting fans definitely don’t get to see this darker side of the Duggars on their TLC show.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jinger Duggar has expressed an interest in moving away from her family and heading to a big city. Many 19 Kids and Counting fans would love to see one of the Duggars break away from their family to build their own life with their own rules. However, Michelle Duggar has made it known that no daughter of hers will ever live somewhere like New York City — she told Jinger that she could go stay in Washington D.C. with Josh Duggar instead.

Jinger’s molester brother was the only Duggar living in a big city, but he recently moved back to Arkansas after losing his job at the Family Research Council. Josh and Anna Duggar have been almost silent on social media, but the other stars of 19 Kids and Counting have been busy sharing tons of cutesy photos like the shopping picture above. It’s possible that they’re trying to get their fans to quit focusing on the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, or maybe their posts are part of an effort to save their TLC reality series from cancellation — they need to be able to show the network that they still have a large fan base that would watch 19 Kids and Counting, and they can use their social media accounts to prove that they’re still popular.

However, one of the Duggars’ recent Facebook posts hints that they’re ready to give up the money, paid vacations, and free earthly possessions that they have been blessed with for starring on 19 Kids and Counting. The post starts out with a Bible verse, of course.

“‘Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.’ Matthew 13:44,” it reads.

“This is so true. Being loved by God, finding HIM and walking with him is worth more than all we could ever possess in the earth. So thankful we have found this treasure (Jesus!) and pray that others will also.”

Do you think the Duggars will do just fine if they lose 19 Kids and Counting, or will they miss the spotlight?
