‘Teen Wolf’ Season Premiere: ‘They’re All Going To Die’ [Video]

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Teen Wolf.

Teen Wolf will return with a double header starting on June 29 with “Creatures Of The Night” and concluding with the second part of Teen Wolf‘s premiere set to air on June 30 with “Parasomnia.”

The creative team behind Teen Wolf has released the following synopsis along with a look at the first five minutes of the Teen Wolf premiere.

“Scott and his pack are challenged by the arrival of a new enemy. Stiles tries to prove his suspicions about a new classmate; Lydia helps a student.”

The executive producer for Teen Wolf, Russell Mulcahy, added more intrigue to the premiere of Teen Wolf when he added that fans would be treated to an “appearance” from former cast members at some point in Teen Wolf‘s fifth season.

“The people that didn’t die, there’s a chance they may come back. But I don’t think we raise from the dead,” Mulcahy teased. “As long as you have your head on, you’re fine.”

It seems that was the Teen Wolf E.P.’s subtle way of telling fans not to expect an appearance from Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) in this season.

In any case, Teen Wolf promises to begin with a bang. Russell entices Teen Wolf fans with the revelation that the season 5 premiere is “probably one of the scariest, action-packed episodes we’ve done,” as well as “one of the most emotional episodes we’ve done for a while. It really deals with the characters’ hearts and emotions and the trials that they’re going through.”

Teen Wolf stars Holland Roden, who plays Lydia Martin, and Tyler Posey, who is Teen Wolf‘s alpha Scott McCall. Both were as infectious with their enthusiasm for Teen Wolf‘s fifth year.

“As far as actors coming back, there’s always so many different forms in which they can come back, but that’s all I’ll say,” Ms. Roden said in a separate interview.

Tyler Posey added that, because Teen Wolf‘s season 5 will see Scott and Stiles in their final year of high school, change will be a big theme throughout the season.

“Stiles and Scott are really trying to keep the group together and they are talking about where they are going to go to college and planning where they are going to live… I think for Stiles and Scott, they just really want to keep the pack together.”

Following the two-night premiere of Teen Wolf on June 29 and 30, Teen Wolf will regularly air Monday nights on MTV.
