Kendall Jenner: Father’s Day Tribute, Says ‘I Am Cait’ Will Involve Nothing But ‘Good Things,’ Still Calls Caitlyn ‘He’ And ‘Dad’

Kendall Jenner recently opened up about her feelings in regards to the new docu-series that will detail Bruce Jenner’s new life as a woman, who now goes by the name, Caitlyn Jenner.

E! News interacted with the fashionista at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York, this week, and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had only a positive opinion to share when questioned about Caitlyn’s new project, which is entitled I Am Cait.

“I think that he can honestly do so much good with everything and I’m excited for it. If he’s excited, I’m excited for him.”

The series is set to air on July 26 and is highly-anticipated after the recent months during which Bruce Jenner came forward and underwent his transition to Caitlyn while in the public eye. In addition to Kendall being supportive of the transition and the upcoming series, she also paid homage to both her mother and father for helping her achieve the success she now enjoys today as a top model and reality star.

“They raised me. My dad especially was hard on Kylie and I when we were kids and taught us how to be mature adults at a very young age. And we grew up with sisters who are 16 years older than us, so we grew up with that sense of maturity—but I try and be a kid sometimes too.”

Being surrounding by so many older siblings and parents who had great expectations for her has gained Kendall one hectic lifestyle as of late. However, as the Mirror UK indicates, the brunette beauty is all in for her busy days.

“I’m so used to our family with our craziness, we’ve always been like this so I’m used to it…I would never have expected it but I’m so glad it’s all worked out like this, it’s a dream come true.”

Kendall’s interaction with E! News makes it quite obvious to readers that the star is still in the habit of calling Caitlyn “he.” This, however, isn’t surprising, as it is a difficult transition to adjust to, and Caitlyn herself made it clear to her children that they are welcome to continue to call her Dad.

Celebuzz quite rightly makes a pertinent point in regards to the transition, stating, “Though Caitlyn has transitioned, it doesn’t mean that everyone is going to adjust to the change overnight. It’s going to be a gradual process, especially for Caitlyn’s family.”
