Customer Claims KFC Served Him A ‘Fried Rat,’ Chain Responds [Video]
A KFC customer posted a video of what he claims to be a “fried rat” in his bucket of chicken. According to the Huffington Post, Devorise Dixon, 25, took to Facebook to share a video of something that was seriously strange looking in his meal. Dixon says he took the item back to the eatery (after he recovered from being sick) and showed it to the manager, whom Dixon says confirmed that it was, indeed, a rat.
“I went to KFC yesterday and bought a 3-piece chicken tender (sic). As I bit into it, I noticed that (it) was very hard and rubbery which made me look at it. I noticed it had a very long tail, and was shaped like (a) rat! It sent deep chills throughout my whole body. I’m still feeling sick, can’t even eat!!! Please watch what you eat, cold world! I bought this from KFC in Compton, CA, on Wilmington and 120th,” Dixon wrote on Facebook.
According to E! News, KFC issued a statement in response to the claims and has called this a “hoax.”
“A customer has made a serious claim against KFC and refuses to cooperate in the investigation. The images the customer originally posted do not include this second angle because it clearly shows it’s a piece of hand-breaded white meat chicken. Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, people who have seen the various photos of the supposed “fried rat” are not convinced that this man is telling the truth. It does indeed look like a funky piece of fried chicken. What do you think?
