Lyme Disease Update: Yolanda Foster Continues Treatment Amid ‘RHOBH’ Casting Rumors, Says ‘Never Quit’

Will Lyme disease keep Yolanda Foster from continuing to appear on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? While some reports have claimed exactly that, others insist she has not yet decided on a possible return.

Although Foster’s future with Bravo remains up in the air, at least according to the latest reports, her Lyme disease struggles continue, and on June 18, Foster shared the latest photo of her Lyme disease treatment.

“I have surrendered but I won’t stop and won’t shut up. I will keep chasing wellness until I catch it…………….. #WeMustFindACure #ChronicLymeDiseaseAwareness Global epidemic growing in the shadows!”

A short time later, Foster shared a different photo with a number of hash tags, including, “Never quit.”

“The limit is not the sky, the limit is in your mind…… #NeverQuit #IfYouStumble #GetBackUp.”

Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, around the time she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 3. Then, during filming on Season 5, Foster suffered a Lyme disease relapse that left her unable to read, write, and watch television. Ever since, Foster has struggled to regain her body and her mind.

While Foster continued to film with Bravo after her Lyme disease relapse, her participation in the Season 5 reunion show was limited, which led many to believe she would leave the show. However, that has yet to be officially confirmed, and recent reports seem to be contradictory.

On June 18, People Magazine claimed Foster, along with Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards, would not return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 6. But hours later, E! News claimed the report was untrue. As the Inquisitr reported, a source revealed the following to host Giuliana Rancic.

“Calm down, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans. News of Yolanda Foster’s exit from the series is not true… Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards are off the show, but Yolanda is staying put… for now.

“Yolanda’s involvement likely depends on how she is feeling. The mom of three has been battling Lyme Disease and recently had a setback with her symptoms. It’s too soon to say in what capacity she will be returning in, but she has not left the show.”

Foster’s Lyme disease has been a hot topic on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and the reality star continues to use the show as a platform to spread awareness for the illness.
