What Did ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 4 Have To Do With Brandi Glanville’s Firing? Plus, Her Replacement Has Been Found

Vanderpump Rules Season 4 is coming soon, and according to a new report, the Bravo Network doesn’t want to do a thing to get on the bad side of its star, Lisa Vanderpump. Although Vanderpump denies having any pull when it comes to casting decisions on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a source claimed the network certainly considered her feelings before they settled on a Season 6 cast.

On Thursday morning, it was announced that Brandi Glanville would not be returning to the show as a full-time housewife and that she may not be back at all. Right away, fans wondered whether Vanderpump may have had something to do with it. For the entirety of Season 5, she and Glanville were at odds, so when Glanville got the boot, many said it was because of Vanderpump’s demands.

After getting word of the report, Vanderpump, who is currently filming Vanderpump Rules Season 4, took to Twitter, denying she has anything to do with cast firings of any kind. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Vanderpump shared the following tweet with fans.

While Vanderpump may not have directly demanded Glanville be fired, the network reportedly got the vibe that she wanted her gone. On June 18, a source revealed the following to In Touch Weekly in regard to Glanville’s exit from the show.

“She’s been let go. Bravo already has a replacement, but they aren’t announcing it yet… Lisa wanted Brandi gone, and Bravo wants to keep her happy because of [her other show] Vanderpump Rules.”

Earlier this week, the Vanderpump Rules Season 4 star spoke to Radar Online, claiming she was extremely busy at that moment with her pet product line, as well as her home accessory line, and confirming no decisions about the show had yet been made.

“I have a lot of things going on right now, but I have always been a business woman. I am also right in the middle of filming (Vanderpump Rules Season 4) which takes up quite a lot of my time at Sur. It is all positive and it also gives me a platform to support the causes that I am passionate about. GLAAD being one of them.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 4 began filming a few weeks ago and is expected to premiere later this year on Bravo.
