Jeff Simms Cares For Leah Messer’s Twins As ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Prepares To Leave Rehab
Jeff Simms is caring for Leah Messer and Corey Simms’ 5-year-old twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, as the Teen Mom 2 star addresses issues of stress and depression in rehab, and on June 18, he took the girls boating.
“Aleeah Grace loves boating!” Jeff Simms captioned his first photo, which featured Aleeah looking towards a lake.
With a second photo, of Ali Simms in the car, Jeff Simms told fans, “Aliannah has fun with stickers!”
In the final photo, which featured Jeff Simms holding Aleeah and Ali on his lap, the reality star wrote, “Can’t imagine a better day on the lake than with these two little blessings!”
Jeff Simms, the father of Messer’s ex-husband, Corey, has been spending a lot of time with the girls since Messer entered treatment on May 21. Although there has yet to be an official confirmation of the reality star’s treatment plans, In Touch Weekly claimed she would likely return home from the Utah facility at the end of this month, following a 30-day treatment program. While Messer’s program was initially thought to be aimed at her alleged addiction to prescription pills, her mother has claimed she does not use drugs (it should be noted, however, that Messer’s mother also stated Messer was not going to rehab).
“TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol. This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB. Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, Corey,Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don’t want association with them and wouldn’t NEVER Condone them.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jeff Simms’ son is reportedly considering a battle for full custody of their twins. Although the couple allegedly settled their differences during a December, 2014, trial, a new report by Radar Online said Corey was having second thoughts now that Messer has gone to rehab.
“With her drug and emotional issues, Corey doesn’t think [Leah Messer] is in any shape to be a good mother right now. He will stop at nothing to make sure his girls are in safe hands.”
Jeff Simms’ son is currently expecting a child with wife Miranda.
