Jeb Bush Does Hilarious Slow Jam Sketch With Jimmy Fallon — ‘He’s A Master Debater’

Jeb Bush turns to comedy as part of his presidential candidate announcement for 2016. While on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Bush participated in a hilarious segment called “Slow Jam the News.”

This week, former Florida governor Jeb Bush announced his candidacy for President 2016. It came after careful and thoughtful consideration, as well as discussion with family. With support from his wife and family, Jeb’s political party decided to go with the campaign.

To further elaborate on candidacy ideas, he and Jimmy Fallon gave renditions that would spark several laughs from the audience and those at home. As well, it’s absolutely full of sexual innuendos from Fallon. Yet, simultaneously, Bush gave everyone insight into his plans and track record. He stated as follows.

“Hello, I’m Governor Jeb Bush. And I’d like to slow jam this news…

Yesterday, in Miami, I formally announced my candidacy for President of the United States. I thought long and hard about this decision. And after careful consideration, I thought now was the right time to launch my campaign for the republican nomination.”

Then, Jimmy adds his humor.

“Aww, yeah. The governor thought ‘long and hard’ about joining the GOP race. After months of being a total ‘caucus tease’, Jeb finally made up his mind and quit ‘beating around the bush’…

Now that you’re fully in, what makes you think you’ve got what it takes to go all the way?”

To this, Jeb Bush responds with stats and numbers.

“Well, in my two terms as governor, I cut taxes every year, passed the first statewide school-choice system, and created 1.3 million new jobs — the most in the country. So, I know we can fix the problems facing our nation, because I’ve already done it during my eight years in Florida.”

And Jimmy returns to offer his brand of seductive humor.

“You gots to listen to my man, Jebediah! He’s got lots of experience ‘down South’. He came from Texas, where everything is ‘bigger’. He turned Florida from a limp peninsula to a ‘virile member’ of the U.S. economy…

…You were able to perform in Florida, but what’s next for the worldwide Jeb?”

Bush responds about his campaign.

“I’m looking forward to hitting the campaign trail and discussing the issues that are important to all Americans. And having spirited debates with my fellow republicans about how to solve them.”

Fallon returns as follows.

“You don’t wanna mess with ‘Little Jebbie’. Because when it comes to debating, he’s a master. [Singer adds] ‘He’s a master debater’…”

Jeb Bush, Jimmy and the singer — Tariq Trotter — could hardly hold in the laughter. As the slow jam continues, they tackle more questions and issues — all of which can be seen in the video above.

What do you think about Jeb Bush’s campaign proposal? Was it not a clever way to deliver his message to viewers? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment below.
