Luann de Lesseps On Kristen Taekman: ‘She Has A Right To Express Herself Wherever’
Luann de Lesseps has managed to stay out of drama on The Real Housewives of New York, as she is launching a new clothing line and even creating a new song. However, de Lesseps will easily get involved with the other ladies’ drama, especially when the drama involves her old friends. Luann has criticized Bethenny Frankel for not being around the ladies and choosing her daughter over filming, and she has criticized Carole Radziwill for dating her chef, Adam.
These days, Luann de Lesseps is going after Ramona Singer for being a bit critical with Kristen Taekman. It is no secret that Taekman feels a bit left out and rejected from the group, as Bethenny didn’t want to talk to her, and Singer keeps making her feel left out. But Luann has a theory: it all comes down to timing.
According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps is now revealing that she feels bad for her co-star, who seems to always be stuck on the outside of the group. She hasn’t actually done anything to be ousted, but de Lesseps knows that rejection hurts.
“I told Kristen that she’s going to have to give Bethenny time to warm up to her and not take it so personally when Bethenny blows her off. Rejection is hard, but banging your head up against the same wall over and over is even harder!” Luann de Lesseps reveals after meeting up with Kristen, as Taekman felt rejected by Bethenny Frankel.
Even though Luann de Lesseps is very neutral this season, she does understand how the other ladies behave. Some of the other ladies have taken sides, and it sounds like Luann has chosen to side with Taekman over Bethenny. But Luann de Lesseps is also going after Ramona for being too aggressive.
“It was only a matter of time before Ramona reared her Ramotional head, and I was surprised at her aggressiveness with Kristen. Kristen has a right to express herself wherever and whenever she wants. As for Ramona calling Kristen dumb …well, that’s just dumb! Kristen is very smart, and while she might be having a little difficulty getting on with some of the girls, her problem is with timing, not intelligence,” Luann de Lesseps explains, defending Kristen against Ramona.
According to the Inquisitr, Taekman doesn’t need Luann de Lesseps to realize that she isn’t the one who is in the wrong. She has admitted that she doesn’t need more friends and would rather be on the outs than be with Singer and her group of friends.
