Adam Levine Blindsided By Breakup

When it was announced that Adam Levine was single after two years of dating Sports Illustrated model Anne Vyalitsyna, the media was shocked. Turns out, so was Adam Levine.

According to sources close to The Voice judge and Maroon 5 singer, Levine, 33, had no idea they were broken up and was completely blindsided by the news of his relationship status, not even getting a heads up about it before Anne Vyalitsyna, 26, told the world. Ouch!

In a statement to People Magazine, Anne Vyalitsyna told the magazine, “Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best.”

Sources tell US Weekly that “It was a cheap shot,” in the latest issue. “Anne didn’t want it to look like he broke up with her.” Now that they’re broken up a pal of Levine’s reveals that “Adam’s heartbroken. He wasn’t even fully sure they were really broken up.”

Although the rocker didn’t see the split coming, friends of Levine’s say they saw it coming from a mile away, mostly due to the musician’s demanding schedule. Telling US Weekly, “Anne said he didn’t pay her enough attention.”

Another insider alluded to the fact that the issue of commitment also could have been a huge factor in the split between Adam Levine and Anne Vyalitsyna, stating, “As a woman, you get to a point where you want to get married. Adam wasn’t ready to take that step.”
