Cynthia Bailey Responds To Husband Peter Thomas Caught On Video Cozying Up To Another Woman: ‘It’s Embarrassing’

Cynthia Bailey is apparently taking her husband’s social media apology to heart. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star says she is standing by her man after the release of a video showing Peter Thomas cozying up to another woman in a club.

In a statement to US Weekly, Cynthia Bailey says while her husband’s behavior with the other woman was inappropriate and embarrassing, the couple are going to work things out.

“My marriage is not perfect. We’re going to deal with this issue as husband and wife. Most marriages go through their share of challenges, and ups and downs. Peter and I are no exception. I felt the video was inappropriate, and embarrassing. I expect him to accept full accountability for his actions. We are coming up on our five-year wedding anniversary and we will deal with this situation as husband and wife. I appreciate everyone’s well wishes, and concerns.”

The video of Peter Thomas and the unknown woman hit social media Tuesday when it was published on The Shade Room‘s Instagram account, as the Inquisitr reported. The intimate touching between the two in the video led some to speculate that the RHOA husband was cheating on his reality TV star wife.

Hours after the video was released, Thomas took to his own Instagram account to issue a public apology to his wife and daughters for the video, which he said appeared to be “crazy,” and to admit that the video makes him look like a “big a** cheater.” Peter later deleted the clip, but not before other users snagged it.

Cynthia Bailey says she was not at Bar One, where the intimate exchange took place, but says she will ask that her husband watch who he is cozying up to in the future.

“When I saw the video I thought it was inappropriate…but I’m not going to set his clothes on fire, but we’re going to talk about some things…I’m going to need him to be a little more careful with who he’s kissing on or looking like he’s kissing on or putting his hands on the neck or grazing their breast.”

Although many fans took to social media to once again allege Peter Thomas is a cheater, other fans think the RHOA couple staged the event, including the release of the videotape, so that Cynthia Bailey’s storyline will be juicier and more interesting than in years past.
