Eva Longoria is A Hopeless Romantic

Eva Longoria isn’t letting love lost with younger beau Eduardo Cruz get her down. Although the pair were together for a year and it looked like the real thing, Longoria isn’t done yet on finding romance for herself.

In fact, while promoting Pepsi’s NEXT launch in New York, she said that she doesn’t have one specific way of looking at love, “I don’t really have a philosophy on love, but I am a hopeless romantic.”

Although the couple split, it seems like Eva Longoria, 37, and Eduardo Cruz, 27, have a healthy friendship, unlike the tumultuous split Eva had with basketball player and ex-husband Tony Parker. Eva and Eduardo were spotted last weekend in Los Angeles on a platonic date too.

So what is Longoria looking for? It seems like she wants a light and carefree funny man stating, “I love a good sense of humor.” As for knowing what she doesn’t want, it seems like the Desperate Housewives actress has learned from the infidelities of ex-husband Tony Parker, stating, “I’m such a feminist, misogyny doesn’t bode well with me.”

As for Eva Longoria’s future with pursuing romance it will have to take a step back to her new creative endeavors as Desperate Housewives meets its end. She will be taking on a lot of edgy roles including one opposite Meg Ryan, as she steals away her [Ryan’s] husband in Long Time Gone. Longoria will also play one half of a couple fighting over custody of their dog in Who Gets The Dog.

In addition Eva Longoria will be seen in the upcoming drama Cristiada, about the Mexican Cristero war and a dark comedy The Baytown Disco.
