Selena Gomez Is Pantene’s New Brand Ambassador: How To Get Some Of Her Hottest Hairstyles

Selena Gomez announced that she’s the new brand ambassador for Pantene. The former Disney star always had major hair envy with her fans. Everybody always wondered how they could achieve her shiny and healthy-looking long locks.

Gomez, 22, said that becoming the face of the beauty brand has always been a dream for her. She admits that she’s an avid user of the hair care products. For many fans, Gomez and Pantene are the perfect combination.

“I’ve used it my whole life, and their message for women – being ‘strong is beautiful’ – and what they represent is so what I embody and I want my fans to feel comfortable in. And it’s fun, it’s so fun to feel your inner girl playing with your hair and feeling beautiful and having fun with it.”

Selena explains why she loves using Pantene Pro-V. She says she loves mixing up her style whether it comes to her hair or her clothes.

“My style is constantly evolving and I love to take risks, so I’m always changing my hair style. I rely on Pantene to keep my hair strong and healthy so I can take on each day with confidence.”

Gomez not only showed off her hair, but her red hot style at the premiere for Hotel Transylvania 2. The actress wore a satin Katie Ermilio crop top and floor-length skin at the promotional event, which took in place in Cancun. Gomez’s hair was slicked back with either gel or hair oil, according to a HollywoodLife report. The actress also wore a hair tie to keep her hair in place.

Selena keeps her fans guessing with her hairstyles. She even sported a retro hairdo on Instagram late last month. Selena shared three black-and-white photos of herself with a messy bouffant. The HollywoodLife explained how fans could copy how fans could get Selena’s retro half-up half-down hairstyle.

“To copy Selena’s undone half-up, half-down hairstyle, start on second-day hair that has a bit of texture to it. Wrap random sections of your hair around a one-inch curling iron to get the haphazard waves Selena is sporting, then spray Redken Windblown 05 Dry Finishing Spray throughout your hair for an airy texture. Create a deep side part, and pull the sides of your hair back, pinning them off of your face and leaving a few pieces loose.”

Selena Gomez has been through quite the hair evolution. The singer and actress has sported long hair, bangs, stick straight hair, and waves. You can check out Gomez’s hair evolution at Fashion & Style Magazine.

The star has admitted that her long locks weren’t always her own. Back in 2014, she revealed how she got her envious dark long hair.

“All this hair isn’t mine – I have extensions as a sort of safety net when I’m on stage. It’s really nice to have the long mermaid hair to move around while you’re being blasted with the fans up there. Plus it just makes me feel pretty.”

Although Selena admitted that she loves using Pantene, she wasn’t always committed to the brand. In fact, she revealed that she was using another shampoo almost a year ago. But no worries. Selena says she was using the shampoo line to keep her extensions smooth and tangle-free.

“U Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner are also really good for them. If they get tangled, I spray some of the Unite 7Seconds Condition Leave In Detangler in my hair, and in literally one second of brushing the tangles go away.”
