Tamra Barney On ‘RHOC’ Season 10, Brooks Ayers’ Cancer Diagnosis

Tamra Barney discussed the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, as well as Brooks Ayers’ allegedly fake cancer diagnosis, during a June 15 interview with Perez Hilton.

“Vicki and Brooks are dealing with cancer, or maybe they are not, it’s all to be seen. Shannon is dealing with some major, major marriage issues, I become a grandmother, I have a new sex tape, and then I get baptized.”

During the Season 10 trailer for The Real Housewives of Orange County a number of housewives, including Tamra Barney and new cast member Meghan King Edmonds, were seen discussing the possibility of Ayers having possibly faked cancer in an effort to avoid being dumped by girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson.

Since Ayers and Gunvalson began dating, co-stars and fans have questioned his motives, and many stars of the show, including Tamra Barney and Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, have been outspoken about their doubts. However, while their doubts initially led to drama between them and Gunvalson, they have since gotten to a better place, agreeing to disagree, when it comes to the matter at hand.

Continuing on to Perez Hilton, Tamra Barney explained that while she isn’t exactly convinced Ayers is being honest about his diagnosis, she also has no solid proof that he’s lying.

“How it all plays out is very suspicious and it just makes you want to think, ‘Is he telling the truth, or is he not telling the truth?’…At the end of the day, nobody really knows except for him and a doctor. I always say, ‘If he’s lying, I hope he gets help, and if he’s not lying I hope he gets help.'”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Tamra Barney isn’t the only housewife with doubts about Ayers’ cancer diagnosis. During an interview with OK! Magazine, via Real Mr. Housewife, Meghan King Edmonds said she believed Ayers was not currently suffering from cancer.

“I think he’s faking his [cancer diagnosis]. There’s definitely a lot of tension between Vicki and me this season, and there are several reasons — but the main one was that she’s upset I had questions about Brooks’s [cancer diagnosis]. I believe the little questions that unfold will intrigue the audience.”
