David Beador Breaks Down During Shannon’s ‘Funeral’ On ‘RHOC’

David Beador’s shocking affair was exposed during last Monday’s season 10 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and this week, he and his wife Shannon are seen attending couple’s therapy.

In a sneak peek of the June 15 episode, via Us Weekly, Shannon and Beador let cameras into one of their most intense therapy sessions, during which an exercise required them to write their own eulogies in the way they’d like their spouse to read it at their funeral. Once they did so, each party lied down on the ground with a headstone behind them, as their partner read their eulogy aloud.

“It’s not a pleasant thought, to think about writing your own eulogy, because as it flashes through my head, I think about the bad things that I’ve done.”

Although writing their own eulogies was an understandably painful experience for both Shannon and David Beador, it seems to do wonders for their relationship with one another.

“[David Beador] doesn’t cry so to see him break down emotionally like this, it’s pivotal in our relationship. It means something.”

Following filming on The Real Housewives of Orange County season nine, Shannon began to have her doubts regarding her husband’s possible extramarital activities. However, it took months for David Beador to come clean.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Shannon and David Beador began attending couple’s therapy shortly after David came clean about his affair. In an interview with Radar Online earlier this month, David Beador opened up about their post-affair plan, which he and wife Shannon hoped would keep their marriage intact.

“We have more mentors, I like to call them than counselors. The mentors hold us accountable. My mentor is in the Army and he holds me accountable, but it is another man and I am able to speak man to man. With Shannon, she has a woman and she is able to speak woman to woman. I think that is important.”

Shannon and David Beador share three children together, Sophie, Stella and Adeline, all of whom were informed of David Beador’s affair.
