Even though she claimed to be "extremely Catholic" when interviewed by Larry King, Jenna Jameson will convert to Judaism. Why? Seems her new fiancé's, Lio Britton's, religion requires her to convert if she's to marry him.
But fans took to Twitter to let Jameson know they're not buying it, because, aside from Jenna's long-standing career as an adult film star and director, she also made a statement in 2013 during an interview with Larry King.
"I'm very religious. I think that we've come a long way religiously. I don't think that you have to take the Bible literally... And I love being able to teach my children what it means to just believe and have the strength of faith... I've always been extremely Catholic. My father was Catholic, and he brought me up that way."However, Jenna has been working on her cooking skills and celebrating Shabbat since her decision to convert. "I started 6 months," Jenna Jameson explained to NewsOxy, "My love is from Israel … So I have to serve the REAL deal!"
Fans took to Twitter to discuss the convert, with one fan posting, "I have a suspicion she converted purely for the jokes." Another wrote, "And all this time I thought she preferred blood sausage." One person posted on Jameson's Twitter account, "I hope you convert your love to monogamy, lol!!"
But other fans have been more supportive, with one Jewish journal wanting to interview Jenna about her decision to convert.Jameson's boyfriend has a questionable past as well and, according to the Daily Mail, he was found guilty of insurance fraud in 2011, claiming that a 4-carat diamond was stolen from his jewelry store in 2010. He then tried to sell the diamond in his store. He was sentenced to three years of probation, five days in jail, and 90 days of home confinement, reports the Daily Mail.Jenna isn't disheartened and has been cooking up a storm to celebrate her new faith, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Jameson has taken to Instagram and Twitter to show the world what the convert is making for dinner, writing "Starting my grocery list for my Shabbat menu... Excited to try a few new recipes!!!"
Jenna posted pics of her challah-making attempts, proudly showing off her kitchen table filled with all sorts of delicious offerings. But it's not just all about the food on her Instagram page, with the convert posting photos of flesh-eating zombies as well."She doesn't seem to be the same Jenna Jameson as of a month ago," Randy Gilbert, a longtime fan of the star, said in a statement, according to NewsOxy. "I don't know what she's on, it could be something bad or it may be spiritual." When Jenna converts, it seems she will have some support, despite what her detractors think.[Image from Instagram]
