Jack Warner is set to publish a book about his time at FIFA. The which is set to be titled The Political Life of Jack Warner according to reports in the Trinidadian media. Warner promises that the book will become a bestseller.
Jack Warner’s time has at FIFA been marred with controversy throughout. Warner has already given out stories detailing his time as a politician in Trinidad and Tobago. Despite that, Warner maintains his loyalty to FIFA and ex-president Sepp Blatter.
“I worked with Blatter for 30 years. I have a thing called loyalty under any conditions, under any kind of tribulations, whatever of course I may suffer. I know loyalty and therefore when a fella is down or seem to be down, I won’t push him down.”
Warner recanted his earlier account where he claimed to spill the beans on damning detailed of the global soccer organization.
“If he is down, I give him a helping hand but, there are people in this country and outside who like to demonise people. I am not like that and therefore don’t expect me to tell you anything about Blatter or FIFA. I am not like that.”
Jack Warner has hit back at his critics, mainly John Oliver, following his criticisms of the U.S. and other soccer associations who he claimed were also guilty of bribing FIFA during his tenure.
“I don’t need any advice from any comedian fool who does not enter this country to tell me what facts to release or not to release. That is not his business. I take no instructions from him. All I can say is heaven help us.”
Jack Warner is currently facing charges including racketeering and money laundering. Warner is currently on bail in Trinidad and Tobago pending an extradition hearing set for 9 July.
