Winning Powerball Numbers June 13: Jackpot Rises To $70 Million
Do you have the winning Powerball numbers for the June 13 drawing? There were no jackpot winners, but there were over 383,000 ticket holders who won non-jackpot prizes on Saturday night.
The jackpot increased to $70 million after lottery officials confirmed that no one matched all six numbers drawn on June 13 — 29, 41, 48, 42, 54, PB 29. Although no one walked away a big winner in Saturday’s drawing, five people became instant millionaires last night. One ticket holder in Oklahoma is $2 million richer after matching five numbers along with the Power Play feature. MLive reports that four tickets worth $1 million each were purchased in California, Georgia, Nebraska, and New York that matched five numbers (no Powerball, no Power Play).
There hasn’t been a jackpot winner since a single ticket holder won $188 million on June 3. According to ABC 15, the winning ticket was purchased at a Quik Trip convenience store in Glendale, Arizona. The lucky winner, who has 180 days to claim the prize, has the option of taking a one-time lump sum payment of $119,993,157 before taxes, or a 30-year annuity.

Odds are one in 175 million that you will hit the jackpot, but if you have $2 to spare for a ticket, it may be worth risking the odds. For an extra $1, players can select the Power Play option and double their winnings on non-jackpot prizes that range from $4 to $1 million. Unfortunately, you can’t double the jackpot prize, but wouldn’t that be nice?
Powerball tickets are sold in 44 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Purchase tickets at lottery retailers located in many convenience stores, liquors grocery, stores, and gas stations. Many locations also feature free-standing lottery machines that sell Powerball, Mega Millions, and instant lottery tickets.
While you wait for Tuesday night’s numbers to be drawn, check your tickets from the last four Powerball drawings — you may have overlooked a non-jackpot prize winner.
