Dark Souls Coming to PC This August, German Magazine Says

There was talk earlier on in the year that Dark Souls could be coming to the PC if enough fans showed support. Unsurprisingly, a lot of fans did just that–gamers started a petition to get Dark Souls on the PC, and managed to get an impressive number of backers.

According to German gaming magazine PC Action, the fans’ efforts paid off–Dark Souls will be coming to PC this August, and it’ll be coming with new content. Just what that content is isn’t clear right now, but the magazine said that the PC version could see new bosses.

The PC release of Dark Souls will apparently be called “Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition” and, in addition to adding a couple of new bosses, the game will include a few minor tweaks as well, including a bit of a bump in the graphics department.

Not much else is known about the PC version of Dark Souls just yet, and Namco Bandai has yet to officially confirm it. They have, however, been teasing some sort of Dark Souls-related announcement recently, so it sounds like the gaming magazine got out ahead of Namco’s intended reveal.
