‘RHOC’ Couple Shannon & David Beador In Therapy After Affair

RHOC couple Shannon and David Beador went through hardships during the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County — and that’s putting things lightly. On the debut episode of the show, Shannon revealed her husband admitted to having an affair last year, just months before filming on Season 10 was scheduled to begin. Now, the RHOC couple is doing what they can to repair their marriage as they continue to take part in the Bravo reality series.

On June 12, the RHOC couple spoke to Radar Online, revealing their post-affair plan.

“We are not at a traditional therapist, but we work with a woman who runs something called ‘Couples Retreat,'” Shannon explained. “They have an over 90 percent success rate with repairing marriages.”

Shannon’s husband, David, revealed he and his reality star wife, the mother of his three daughters, spend time with mentors, who are helping them get back to a healthy place within their marriage.

“We have more mentors, I like to call them than counselors. The mentors hold us accountable. My mentor is in the Army and he holds me accountable, but it is another man and I am able to speak man to man. With Shannon, she has a woman and she is able to speak woman to woman. I think that is important.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the RHOC couple also spoke to Radar Online earlier this morning, revealing David’s affair was completely devastating for their children, Sophia, Stella, and Adeline. In their June 12 interview, the RHOC couple looked forward from the incident and said they hoped to help other couples who have also been plagued with infidelity.

“We went back and forth with the decision [to go public] for quite some time and whether or not we should put our family and our kids through it. After a lot of counseling with our church, our counselors and with our children – a lot of discussions with our children – we decided that this was an opportunity to show couples that you don’t have to throw in the towel after something like this happens.”

As the 10th season of the Bravo reality show continues, the RHOC couple will continue to give fans an inside look at their marriage, post-affair, as well as what they’ve done in the months since to improve their relationship.
