Beverly Hills Hotel Won’t Pursue Kim Richards Trespassing Charge

The Beverly Hills Hotel is not pursuing a trespassing charge against Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards. Although the reality star and mother of four was dealt the trespassing charge at the time of her April 16 arrest, the hotel has decided to drop charges against her.

“Hotel management has absolutely no interest in having Kim prosecuted for trespassing at the Polo Lounge,” an insider told Radar Online on June 11.

After having a glass of vodka at her daughter’s house, as she admitted to Dr. Phil, Richards drove to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she enjoyed a few more alcoholic beverages and became a disturbance to fellow patrons. After refusing to leave the restaurant when confronted by Beverly Hills Hotel security, police were called and Richards was arrested. Following the incident, Richards was dealt a number of charges including public intoxication, trespassing (for failing to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge when asked), resisting an officer, and battery on an officer.

Robert Shapiro, Richards attorney, is “confident he can get the other charges dismissed after providing proof to the court that she is making progress in rehab,” the Radar Online insider added.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, who was not with her during her Beverly Hills Hotel arrest, has been vocal about Richards on Instagram. In one of Brinson’s latest posts, he addressed recent rumors and revealed his ex-wife has landed a three-book deal and had offers to do two shows.

“She’s sounds great. People are pouring so much love to her. She’s even got two shows from NBC that they want her to star in. And finally with her 3 book deal everyone will know the truth. She has so much support from everyone. People make mistakes and the ones who turn their backs on you shouldn’t be in your life during the good times. And to make one thing clear she went back to rehab on her own that shows how strong and determined she is. 90 per cent what you read is not true but I’m happy for her to finally tell the truth and not afraid of what anyone thinks. She’s tired of being thrown under the bus and has no problem with whom it may hurt. Truth shall set you free.”

Although the Beverly Hills Hotel will not be pursuing charges against Richards, they have banned her from their venue.
