Beverly Hills Arrest Video: Kim Richards Drunken Footage Released?

Beverly Hills reality star Kim Richards was caught on camera during her Beverly Hills Hotel arrest on April 16. On June 12, Radar Online confirmed Richards’ arrest was captured on film, but fortunately for the reality star, there is no plan to release the footage — unless it is necessary to her upcoming trial.

“There is incriminating surveillance video that Kim wouldn’t want anyone to see. Cameras captured the fracas she created in the lobby area before being arrested.”

Richards’ arrest was reportedly quite dramatic. Not only did she allegedly attempt to lock herself into a bathroom, she also kicked a police officer, leading to a battery charge, in addition to charges of public intoxication, resisting an officer, and trespassing.

While releasing the Beverly Hills Hotel’s footage would certainly be scandalous, Radar Online’s source said the hotel likely wouldn’t do so.

“There’s no plan to do that. Not unless it was used at her trial.”

Although a hearing on the case was held earlier this month in Beverly Hills, Richards did not attend. Instead, her lawyer was there and entered a guilty plea on her behalf.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards’ Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Lisa Vanderpump recently spoke out about her troubles. During an interview with Radar Online, Vanderpump explained why she distanced herself from Richards during the fifth season of the show.

“I chose to stay out of the whole scenario this season because I was already in that whole situation two years ago when I questioned Kim’s sobriety. I didn’t want to go there again. Most importantly is that Kim gets the help she needs. I wish her well. That is all I want for her and all that the cast wants as well.”

During the fifth season of the Beverly Hills-based series, Richards, Vanderpump, and the rest of the cast traveled to Paris, where Richards acted a bit strange. Although Richards credited her behavior to jet lag, Vanderpump questioned her about a possible relapse and got serious heat for it.

Also speaking to Radar Online, Vanderpump said the show shouldn’t serve as an excuse for Richards to drink.

“A reality show should document your reality. It shouldn’t be the reason you drink and the show should not be what keeps you sober.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is due in a Beverly Hills courtroom for a second hearing on July 16.
