Hilary Duff Gets A Box Of Baby Gifts From Jessica Alba

Hilary Duff recently welcomed her son, Luca Cruz Comrie, into the world, and another celebrity mom, Jessica Alba, is already showering the new mom with some gifts for the new baby.

After Hilary Duff tweeted pictures of her two-week-old baby earlier this week, the ‘Lizzie McGuire’ star said that Alba sent over an assortment of goodies from “The Honest Company”, a new company that the ‘Sin City’ star started earlier this year.

Hilary took to her Twitter page to thank Alba and The Honest Company for the baby-themed goodie package, saying: ”Thanks @honest & @jessicaalba for the box of goodies for Luca! The whole line looks amazing! Excited to try everything”

Jessica, who has two daughters of her own with her husband, Cash Warren, kicked off The Honest Company along with her business partner, Chris Gavigan, in January of this year. The company sells a variety of household goods, including body care products and, of course, toxin-free household goods for babies.

Now that Duff has welcomed in a new baby boy, she says that she plans to put her singing and acting careers on hold.

“I think that after I have the baby I’ll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom and then there’s no reason why I can’t put a record out on tour … It might take a little while but I’m really excited about it,” the singer-actress was recently quoted as saying.

In the meantime, Hilary has been enjoying reading some of her own favorite children’s books to get Luca off to sleep at night–reading the books she used to enjoy as a child as an adult is a “wild” experience, the 24-year-old actress said. ”It’s wild to read all of these children’s books again! So many of them relate to adult life… deeep! Lol”
